Extract from war diary of 9th Bn, 22nd (Cheshire) Regiment

The Bn. moved into billets at CAESTRE marching out at 8-30 a.m. and arrived in billets at about 9-15 a.m.  Letter “A” Coy distinguished itself by not having a single man fall out on the line of march during the whole of this arduous journey across 3 army fronts.
