Extract from war diary of 2nd Bn, 22nd (Cheshire) Regiment

An early start was made and battalion marched with remainder of Brigade to SETQUES passing through outskirts of St. OMER. Two companies who were to go to QUELMES were told when on the way to proceed to SETQUES instead where H.Q. were also established. Though march was one of 22 kilometers and day was hot and dusty no one fell out. Billets were very comfortable.
