Extract from war diary of 9th Bn, 22nd (Cheshire) Regiment

Richebourg

Day passed quietly.  Patrols were pushed along the Railway towards DE TOULOTTE FM but were drawn driven back by MG fire.  1OR being killed.  A patrol also pushed along NORA TRENCH was bombed by the enemy 2 Officers being wounded and 1 OR., the two officers were 2nd Lieuts E.A. POWELL and E. OLLERENSHAW.
