Extract from war diary of 9th Bn, 22nd (Cheshire) Regiment

Richebourg

Our artillery carried out a shoot on W and N of SHEHERDS REDOUBT.  A patrol of 1 NCO and 2 men proceeded to reconnoitre vicinity of SHEPHERDS REDOUBT and returned with three prisoners.  3 ORs reinforcements joined.
