Wippenhoek

In accordance with Brigade Order No122 and 9th Cheshire A/22/293 (App K 35) the battalion moved off at 6.50 a.m and commenced the march for TUNNELLERS CAMP (F.27.a. Sheet 27).  This camp was reached about 10.30 a.m, but billeting was not completed until 1 pm as tents had to be erected.

Kemmel

By 5.a.m, however, all positions of the Battalion had been occupied by the French and the Battn moved off in accordance with Brigade instructions and Battn. Order No8 (App. K31) and assembled in M.16.b.  From here the march was continued to billets in WIPPENHOEK (L 28. Sheet 27) which were reached about 7 am.  Hot meals were served and the men turned in to rest.
